It’s been a while since my last update—a few years, in fact. During that time, we have had a few things going on behind the scenes, and the Lord has impressed on my heart to reach back out, re-introduce ourselves, and reconnect with local churches in our community.

Who We Are

  • Jeff (Lead Consultant & Project Manager): I bring over 20 years of IT experience to help churches navigate technology, networking, and technical planning.
  • Maverick (Apprentice & Assistant): My son is learning the ropes! He helps me run sound checks, carry gear, and assist with equipment setups. While I oversee every project, having him by my side makes this a true father-son ministry.

What We Do

We are a helping ministry, dedicated to serving local congregations with practical tech support and guidance:

  • Computer & Desktop Support: Practical help for church office computers, staff laptops, software issues, and everyday tech problems.
  • Wired & Wireless Networking: Troubleshooting slow or dropping internet connections, setting up Wi-Fi for staff/guests, and making sure your network runs reliably.
  • Phone & Intercom Systems: Setup, troubleshooting, and advice for church phone lines, office communication, and building intercoms.
  • Construction & Wiring Planning: If your church is renovating or building, we can work with you to plan out your data needs and network cabling before the walls go up.
  • Security Cameras: Installation and setup of camera systems to help keep your church facility safe and monitored.
  • Church Live-Streaming: Setting up or refining your live-stream gear so shut-ins and remote members can join your services.
  • Basic Sound Troubleshooting: Practical help finding line noise, fixing board setups, and solving minor audio issues.
  • Consulting & Advice: Giving you a friendly second opinion before you buy new equipment or start a tech project.

Our Cost & Mission

As a helping ministry, we offer all of our services at no cost to your church.

If you feel led to support our work, churches may choose to make a donation to our mission fund in care of our sponsoring church, Parkers Mill Road Baptist Church.

Let’s Connect

If your church has a technical headache you can’t quite solve, an upcoming project, or just needs a little advice, please reach out. We would love to serve your congregation! You can contact us via:

Thank you for your faithful service to the Gospel.

Cumberland Baptist Institute and West Somerset Baptist Church http://pmrbc.tech/cumberland-baptist-institute-and-west-somerset-baptist-church/ Thu, 03 Sep 2020 01:16:25 +0000 http://pmrbc.tech/?p=65 I have been doing work with Cumberland Baptist Institute for a while. One of their dreams was to offer online classes. The push for online classes has been quite great with the onset of COVID-19.

Their staff came up with a tier system for the online classes. Tier 1 would be on-site, tier 2 would be real time distance (using video conferencing), and tier 3 would be self-paced online learning. We were able to make all 3 happen and save them a bit of money on existing services as well. Here’s the breakdown.

Each classroom needed to be equipped with a TV, computer, and microphone to leverage the video conferencing option. We were able to accomplish this by purchasing 55″ TV’s, Chromebooks, and Samson GoMics that would connect to the Chromebook. The setup is extremely budget friendly with the final total being less than $2,500 to equip every classroom with the proper equipment.

We were able to save them $1,800 by combining their online eLearning hosting, web forms, and website into one package.

West Somerset

I worked with West Somerset over the last few months to engineer a streaming solution. Were able to accomplish a streaming setup using their existing computer and a few items we purchased from our online vendors. The entire setup was less than $800, which included a camera, tripod, capture device, and USB 3.0 PCI-e card.

First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Rock Island Illinois http://pmrbc.tech/first-landmark-missionary-baptist-church-rock-island-illinois/ Fri, 08 May 2020 16:43:23 +0000 http://pmrbc.tech/?p=42 We were contacted on May 1st, 2020 to do some website work on First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Rock Island, Illinois.

Brother James Candler had already setup the domain and the hosting but he needed some assistance tweaking the layout of the website as well as getting it published.

We worked with Brother James until the website was completed to their satisfaction. Brother James wanted to fill in the information himself so we mainly designed the layout and menu structure.

Unity Baptist Church Website http://pmrbc.tech/unity-baptist-church-website/ Thu, 30 Apr 2020 16:28:39 +0000 http://pmrbc.tech/?p=39 On March 23, 2020 we were contacted by the Pastor of Unity Baptist Church, James Conn. He was wanting us to setup a website for their church. They already had their domain name but not hosting.

We helped them find a hosting provider and then ported the domain name to use the DNS of the hosting provider. From there we were able to install WordPress and get started designing a website. They had everything ready to go in terms of getting the website setup. They provided us access to logos in their Google Drive as well as provided the information for each page.

We worked on the page until the final designs and pages were completed to their satisfaction. The website was then handed off to Unity for them to maintain. We provided some on site training on how to manage the website. We are available to support the website if they ever need help.
